Connect to Support

What we do

Our Support Workers provide social care support for over 1,500 customers in the community, in the home and through short break respite support for families.

While our primary focus is on adults who have learning disabilities, we can also support you if you have physical, complex needs, autism, an acquired brain injury, need support to remain independent through age or ill health, dementia or are a young person making the transition to adult services.  Our support workers are skilled people, trained to provide social care support to a wide range of people, often with very complex needs.

Our aim is to support you to lead the life you choose.

Our values

  • We believe you should always be treated with dignity and respect
  • We will listen to you and try to work flexibly to meet your needs, putting you at the heart of everything we do
  • We will ensure you should have choice and control over how you are supported
  • We believe everyone has the right to progress in life, experience new opportunities and learn new skills as well as forming friendships and relationships
  • We are passionate that people should live safely in their communities, are treated equally and feel safe

Why choose us

How you want to be supported and what you want to do is our top priority. As we provide a wide range of different types of social care support, including day time activities, domiciliary care, community support and short break respite stays, we can build a package that fits your needs and interests. We can organise taster sessions so you can try new activities and find out what is right for you and we work with many other groups in the local community so we can provide a more varied mix of opportunities.

We are a social enterprise which means that any trading surplus we make must be re-invested back into the service we provide for our customers or back into the community through our Community Benefit Fund.

We invest in staff training and development and provide on-going support for staff. Our company is owned by its employees which means we care about how we run the business and the service we provide.

Our staff

We aim to develop our staff, train them well, give them new and varied opportunities and promote from within.

We aim to recruit staff who love what they do with a genuine desire to work in social care and we invest a lot in training them well in all aspects of their job.

Every staff member takes part in a comprehensive training programme to give them the skills to deliver a high quality and personalise service, developing positive relationships with the people they support and their families.

We are often recruiting so if you would like a career in social care, get in touch.
