About this provider

WomenCentre is a registered charity based in Calderdale and Kirklees with over 30 years experience of working with women and the issues affecting women. Our mission is to improve the well-being and quality of life for all women. We have services in both south and north Kirklees.

We are open in Huddersfield, Kirklees Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. We are also open early evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday. We also deliver services from our Dewsbury Base and a number of outreach services across Kirklees.

We offer a wide range of services, including therapeutic groups and activities. We also have a number of Specialist projects which include:
- Mothers apart, a supportive group welcoming any mothers living apart from their children -– whatever the reason.
- Sisters shhhOUT, for women who identify as lesbian, bisexual or are questioning their sexuality.
- Women in Exile, for women seeking asylum, refugees and new migrants.
